PEC Center for Digital Inclusion and Technology
As a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, we are authorized to refurbish donated computers and give them to our youth.  All donated computers will be completely wiped clean and installed with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office.  If you have computers to donate please check the following specifications:

1) Minimum processors
• Intel: “Core 2”, “Pentium Dual Core”, all of the i3, i5, and i7 processor models. (Essentially, any computer that was made after June of 2006.)
• AMD: 10h or above family of processors. Basically, any computer that was made in 2007 or later.

2) Non-working machines
• Depending on inventory, we sometimes accept non-working machines. All non-working machines are torn down and used for parts. It is very helpful for us, where possible, if you label and describe the condition of non-working machines, it helps our process flow. We are always in need of memory and hard drives, so the non-working machines, if within specifications.

*Digital Inclusion computer specifications would must likely change in an effort to keep up with rapid changes in the PC industry. Please email Nathan Jones-Morales at njones@pec-cares.org or call 267-777-5873 to schedule a drop off time.

For monetary donation, please click here and please make a note stating whether it is for  "General Digital Inclusion" or "Shirley Memorial Fund"
